The Quiet Thinker is a seated ceramic figure with its arms wrapped around its knees, in a glossy grey glaze. The pose is still and compact, and the grey is a single, even colour. It has a minimal, sculptural character.

A figure this simple suits a calm setting. Glossy glaze takes on light, so a position near a window or a lamp gives the grey some depth. It reads well from across a room.

It suits the living room or bedroom, on a console or a bookshelf. On a console, place it near one end and let a stem or a stack of books sit at the other. On a bedroom shelf, it can sit among a few books and nothing else. It also makes a considered gift. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
