About the piece
Noir Scallop Mirror: a scalloped round mirror for the home.
The Noir Scallop Mirror is a round mirror with a softly undulating scalloped edge and a black matte frame. The outline waves gently around the circle, like a petal edge, and the matte finish gives the frame a quiet, even surface that does not glare.
Overall it measures 80 x 80 cm, with an inner mirror of 72.5 x 72.5 cm and a frame width of 2.5 cm. The frame is slim, so the glass takes up most of the face, and the black gives a clean, graphic edge to the wall.
Hang it above a console in the entryway, or in the living room or bedroom where a round shape breaks up straight lines. The black frame works with neutral and contemporary rooms, and with warm plaster or wood. It reflects windows and plants nearby, and the round shape makes a good partner for a rectangular console or a low sideboard beneath it. A bowl or a single vase below is enough.
